"...the 1970 had a nice, pungent nose full of wintergreen, nut, roasted meat and cherry fruit pinches of pepper, anise and caramel alcohol still firm gamy quality but in a red, ripe way good flavors of nut, caramel and older red fruits, mainly cherry good earth and mild dust on the finish a very good, delicious Cheval that is lighter-bodied, fine, but complex won't get much better, probably, and light by Cheval standards, but thoroughly enjoyable got saucy in a reduction way."
